X-OP report from Istanbul
Maarin -Mixed reactions about the meeting, no schedule or fixed structure. Evening program was good, John performance, Media in Motion video presentation, Marko's Electropera, Armin's exhibition. Visit to Istanbul Beinnial, full schedule. Make a clear structure for the X-OP meeting in MoKS. What will come out of it?
Some cooperation is developing. X-OP meeting will be the weekend before AVAMAA.
Petra Kaps is in the residency. She makes dinner with invited artists, so far Riho Kall and John Grzinich. Discussion is open about life and work. Artists must present something back. She will travel to the agreed place and time. Cooking is important for making contact in a different way from the usual method, to be generous and open.
Future plans of X-OP... meeting and workshop in Portugal. Each event we announce the possibilities to participate whether it is a workshop or symposium.
The X-OP time table will be emailed to members.
Patrick McKinley and Piibe Kolka are voted in as MoKS members.
