"... My interest lies in exploring the different ways in which people engage with everyday objects and places, including the underlying (and often tacit) assumptions that shape interaction. My intention is firstly to reveal how patterns of behaviour relate to the material, political or historical dimensions of place, and secondly to re-negotiate these connections, overturning the ´natural´ order and challenging boundaries of perception, taste and conduct.
My work generally takes the form of performative experiments; /---/ Alongside performative work I use film, text and material traces to distill and recontextualise on-site processes for a wider audience."
