Jeon Wongil has been expressing the artistic relationship with natural objects and materials such as leaves, stones and shadows. These ephemeral and intuitional art works in nature connects to photography and become important motives in painting and installation.
Wongil hopes his artwork obtain it’s life as an unknown entity through the process of developing and expanding itself in the real world. He wants his artwork becomes a new gateway guiding to a wider world beyond.
He had solo exhibitions 20times in Seoul, London, etc and participated in the Busan Biennale -Sea Art Festival-2015, Land Art Biennale in South Africa in 2013. Now He is working as a researcher of Science Waldon Project in Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology(UNIST).
