Directions to Mooste and MoKS:

The nearest airports are Tartu, Tallinn and Riga. Tartu (40 km from Mooste) has only connection to Helsinki, but it should still give you several options as Helsinki has good international connections.  Tallinn and Riga both have good international connections especially through Helsinki and Copenhagen. Landing in Tallinn gives you more convenient bus connections to Tartu and Mooste. From Tallinn it takes about 3 hours to reach Mooste. You will need to take a bus or train to Tartu (pronounced TAR-to) in central Estonia, then transfer to a bus to Mooste (pronounced MAW-steh).

Local Bus tickets can be purchased via TPILET or at the bus stations in Tallinn and Tartu. All of the "Ekspress" busses also make a stop at the Tallinn airport on their way to Tartu (tickets should be purchased in advance). From Tartu there are several busses a day to Mooste. Mooste is 43km from Tartu and the journey takes about 45 minutes. MoKS is about a 15 minute walk from the local bus stop. We can pick you up if you have a lot of luggage or you can walk. By foot, walk down the footpath lined with oak trees past the lake (on the left) and the Mooste Manor (on the left). MoKS is located about 100m after the large manor house. On the local signs it is called the 'Art Center'.

There are also few buses from Riga to Tartu every day with LUX EXPRESS and ECOLINES.

There are several trains per day from Tallinn to Tartu. Info about tickets and times can be found via ELRON. In Tartu, you can either take a taxi to the bus station to get a local bus to Mooste or you can continue by train to Põlva (pronounced PULL-vuh). Põlva is 15km from Mooste. There are few bus connections to Mooste so you can either take a taxi or make arrangements to be picked up.
