Marko Kosnik started his polymedia career in 1980s as a writer of concepts and a musician, producing creative environments, open labs and media platforms, dealing with synchronization of authors from different backgrounds.Crossing from acoustic studies of subterranean Karst to performances and installations with sonorostatics (electro-acoustic plates) Kosnik entered the field of performances with his own producting of egon March Institute and started building interactive environments in 1993.
The last time Marko Kosnik was walking the forests around Mooste, he failed in attempt to initialise “One laptop per Tree” project. After 7 years he is returning with an idea to expand AI in the domain of forest protection and support for the “small” language groups, living on the border of survival.
