Housekeeper
I dare say I have a special relationship with houses since i've had a lucky chance to be witnessing the birth of many houses and even helping to create some. So I think I understand them, the houses. I understand how much they need someone to take care of them, to live and breath in the same rythm with them or even set the tact of breathing. They're like house pets in many ways. Homeless houses, that are also depicted in this exhibition are sad and lifeless whereas the houses that are being kept are blooming and alive.

Ulla Saar is professionally trained product designer and an architect based in Tallinn, Estonia. She's been drawing ever since she's been able to hold a pencil in her hand but truly finding the love of it while studying in UIAH, Helsinki on 2000. Since then she's done many illustrations, drawings and drawing based products that lead to establish her own illustration company on year 2012. She's interested in meanins behind lines. How one can depict situations that might seem confusing or clear at first glance but when you look closer a different meaning comes through.
