This year the PostsovkhoZ seminar introduced a broad range of ideas on the idea of territories. Seminar talks were given by speakers representing Estonian academic and official sectors.


Tartu University, behavioral ecologist Raivo Mänd talks about territoriality from a biological perspective.




Tartu University human geographer, Helen Sooväli talks about preservation of the cultural landscapes in rural Estonia and elsewhere. 



 
Andres Oopkaup from the Estonian Agricultural Ministry gives an extensive overview on the past and present policies affecting agriculture and land management in Estonia.

 
Kaileen Mägi from Estonian Television showed the historic urban developments of Tallinn city center.


Tartu University, semiotics student Tiit Remm presents his work on constructed realities of postcard imagery.
