Dr Myna Trustram
Research Associate, Manchester School of Art, Manchester Metropolitan University, UK
I am a writer, curator and historian. For twenty-five years I worked in museums and galleries in England. In 2013, I joined Manchester School of Art where I run the doctoral training programme in arts and humanities. When writing, I work with themes of museums, memorialisation, memoir and loss. My theoretical framework is psychosocial (psychoanalysis), in particular the ideas of Donald Winnicott, Christopher Bollas and Thomas Ogden. Since 2011 I have performed regularly at the Nordic Summer University. The most recent performance (August 2018): ‘On Not Being the Keynote’.
