Long-distance truck-drivers are like nomads of today on the landscapes of the mazes of the roadways, who shepherd commodity instead of animals. The trucks are like the visual symbols of nowadays trends; symbols of the world of a globalization, the complicated logistics. With conformable infrastructure they have created connecting links between countries, cities and other places, mostly unnoticed, by by-roads, on designated times of day. Mysticism of logistics, geographical mysticism of the roadways.
Landscapes. I can endlessly observe fields, gas stations, truck-cars on the roadways, wind generators on a hill. The fields, the straight roadways, the bridges, a natural landscape seamed by the roadsides, the truck-cars passing by. The truck columns, the power lines. The power lines. A greenery and the gray storehouses. Passing by the trucks. Passing by. A gargantuan dark-gray storehouse tower above the trees and bushes. The wind generators. Over the truck-parking spaces alternately a green landscape, it can be seen far away. Afar. Knowing that the trucks, the generators, the power lines – it all means fending off the nature, I do not have an ability not to enjoy the whole scenery. What inflames this strong visual experience? It is unbelievably beautiful. A flight? From what? Accepting this kind of assemblage, it means to cut off from the actual meaning of the objects. But there has to be something substantial that fulfills the aesthetics of this. Fragile trees that accompany passers-by.
Boring measuring by a human being enriches a diversity of the landscape. Maybe it lets it to come forward. The faraway industrial zone, the angular forms. A chiasma with the rails. Your soulmate is You yourself. Flight from living for the matter to be? Around the corner: Scania, Volvo, Man, Scania, Scania, Daf, Man, Volvo, Scania, Drewbet, Scania, Scania, Daf, Daf...
